Methodology
Every listing is compiled from public sources (supplier websites, published price lists, industry guides), stored with its source URLs, and re-checked automatically every week. Listings that fail verification are flagged, not silently kept. Featured placement and affiliate links never change the facts we publish.
Where the data comes from
The directory currently holds 127 active listings. Each one records the public sources it was compiled from, the pricing model as published by the supplier, and alast verified date. Where a supplier only sells on quotes, we say "quote-based" rather than inventing a number.
How refreshes work
A scheduled job re-checks every listing weekly (last run: 2026-07-14). Suppliers whose sites go dark are marked "under review" and sink in rankings until re-verified. Pricing details carry the date they were last confirmed, so you can judge freshness yourself.
How we make money
Two ways, both disclosed: some outbound links are affiliate links (marked withrel="sponsored"), and suppliers can pay for a "Featured" badge that affects placement within a list. Neither changes descriptions, pricing data or whether a supplier is included. Rankings inside best-of guides state their comparison criteria on the page.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong or out of date? Suppliers and readers can request a correction and we aim to re-verify within a week.
